I want to change my layout and have already narrowed down the choices to two. So I started to make a very simple header today...and got confused ;)

I'm enjoying my vacation. The weather still sucks (foggy and rainy and too cold) but I'm finally getting to reading some books, playing Sims, meeting people, cooking, spoiling the piggies...the usual stuff ;)
I watched SPN S 3 within two days and I loved it, I'm just a bit disappointed with the extras on the DVDs.
Also, I'm almost done with Smallville S 7. I tried some Dr Who episodes and the first two episodes of Reaper, but I'm not too excited about them... *sighs* Thank God that stupid summer hiatus thing will be over soon. And honestly - even a not so exciting US TV show is better than the crap German TV is offering now! *snorts* It's a shame I'm actually paying for this. I should complain somewhere.

And since bobbinrob declared today Sexy Jensen Day and tomorrow Sexy Jared day....

So I have two weeks off now, the weather sucks, and - my computer decides on letting me down *grumbles* Not the computer per se, but the internet connection. Well, I figured out what was wrong tonight (heh. Just unplugging the router for a moment did the job- I should write "Restoring internet-connection for dummies" and become rich and famous)
I watched a couple of "old" movies like Speed and Sense & Sensibility and Legally Blond and Spiderman 1-3, plus some Olympics. There's a certain fascination to synchronized swimming and kayaking, don't you think?^^

I also bought a Nintendo DS as belated b-day gift for myself^^ It's red and very shiny ;)
I bought a couple of games, too, I spent the whole afternoon talking to a virtual Labrador Puppy named Bobby *lol* It is so very very cute! It is licking the screen and pawing it and making puppy-dog eyes at me ;-) Yeah, I'm insane, I know. I also tried this brain jogging game from that Japanese guy - Dr. Kawashima? Ooooh... when I first started it, I had no clue what that thing wanted from me, so my brain turned out to be 67 years old *lol* I practised very hard and my brain is up to 41 years already *lol* Good times ;)

I also had this very weird dream where Jensen told Jared he'd make him an honorable man, and then Jensen wanted me to buy him a French Bulldog puppy and I panicked because I was at the Olympics Stadium and couldn't get a dog and I bought Jensen spring rolls instead. Huh. I wonder if he wanted to feed the puppy to Jared. Or if I should cut down watching Olympic broadcasts.

Anyway, I'm off to bed now, and I hope I can catch up with you tomorrow

I like Smallville, I really do. I watched up to 6x16 tonight, will watch the rest during my vacation, but....some episodes are so boooooring... *sighs* Or is it just me? I'm not into SV-fandom at all, I just like watching the show, but...

I just finished reading the final part of the SickVerse *happy sigh* I'm just a bit sad that it's finished now. It's such a perfect story....

Oh, and just one more day at work and I'll be on vacation! \o/ Two weeks off - I'm probably going to spam the hell out of you, beware^^
And the new episodic stills of SPN 4/01... *drools* I'm not going to post them here, but you all know you can get them at dean_sam if you want to :)

Lap time for Gandi tonight.

Gandi:

I snuggled him, cuddled him, brushed him. He took a nap in the crook of my neck (which I love, because he always makes the cutest purring soothing noises), we watched some TV (Supernatural, of course, but it didn't impress him too much) and everything was just fine, but ....then he jumped off my shoulder, onto the couch, grinned at me like a mad man - and PEED. On my COUCH. Which is holy ground!!! (It was expensive, it is beige, no piggie is allowed to pee on it. Or shed fur on it. Or even breathe on it. That's why there are blankets and towels and stuff, but no, Gandi - smart pig that he is - used the little patch of couch fabric that wasn't covered in blankets and towels to PEE on it *iz mad*
And then, while I was in a middle of a rant of how he is a bad piggie and I'd love to shave and roast him on a stick and stuff him with garlic and mushrooms... he just turned his head and smiled at me *melts*

Screw the couch. Give me piggies.

It's my mom's birthday today, and she invited the family (aka my dad, my sister, my brother-in-law, my nephew and me) for dinner.
And the restaurant was...well... *points to icon* not super-creepy at all! *lol* It's supposed to be a rustic, down-to-earth, plain pub/eating place. But boy, it gave me the creeps! First of all, the room was - DARK. Like, dark wood ceiling, dark wood floor, narrow windows, no daylight at all-kind of dark. With dark brown velvet curtains. A huge, ebony cupboard covering one wall, several punch bowls sitting on it which looked a lot like urns. To top that image - the whole place had a lot of plastic flower arrangements and friggin' DOLLS - clown dolls, ballerina dolls, baby dolls, Chucky dolls.... sitting on shelves, watching you...and very creepy woolen hangings I don't dare to describe. The moment I entered the room I had goosebumps. It was like sitting in a crypt. Or the office of a very serious undertaker. The whole scenario just screamed "Get the Winchesters!" *lol* Oh, and there was a little teddy bear in a Santa-Claus outfit hanging on the curtains... *shivers* The food was bad, too *lol* Seriously, the only time I relaxed was when my nephew cuddled me and whispered "I'm scared, can we play the Sims on your cell phone?" Bless him :)
My sister and my brother-in-law didn't feel comfortable there either, so we left pretty soon after dinner. My mom liked it though, and that's what counts. She's the birthday girl ;)

My trip to Düsseldorf was AWESOME!
I had so much fun, I learnt so much stuff, I had a bath tub in my hotel room, I met a couple of very nice people... It was great! *flappy hands*
I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed right now, I'm dead tired.... I'm gonna make a long post soon (including pics), but right now... naaaah....*yawns*

I know I missed Vinnie's aka r_sambora_luvr 's birthday on Wednesday - sorry, honey, I had no internet access...happy belated birthday to you!

My toe is a bit better today. I spent the weekend putting ice on it *sighs* Why is it always me who is having freaky accidents?^^ Thanks for all your support, though :)

I already told you I'm going to attend a seminar in Düsseldorf and I'll be out of town for almost a whole week *gasp* ;) I called my sister twice today to give her instructions how to take care for the piggies while I'm gone. I always have a bad feeling about leaving the little ones... even though I know my big sis will take perfectly care of them, feed them and cuddle them... But I'm sure they're gonna miss their mummy! (aka me *lol*) Aww, nevermind, they'll be doing fine. *nods*

I still don't know if I should take that damn laptop with me to Düsseldorf. It's so old and big and heavy... and it's just for a couple of days, but I'm dreaming about taking a hot bubble bath while watching SPN in my hotel bathroom *lol* My own bathroom just has a shower, I miss taking long hot bathes...

So anyway, I'm not sure if I can make another post tomorrow, or the next few days - depends on my decision: laptop yay or nay? ;-) I'll let you know :) But I'm going to take pictures! Yay! (Unless, of course, I forget to pack my camera. Wouldn't be the first time...)

God, what a boring day!

Not much to do at work (not that I'm complaining, those days are precious) and time just wouldn't pass *yawns*
I came home, fixed myself a sandwich for dinner, cuddled with Sam while watching another episode of Dexter.... opened Gimp to make some icons, couldn't get into the creative flow, closed Gimp again, started reading a story on spn_j2_bigbang Didn't like it, stopped reading... I'm kind of bored out of my mind right now *sighs*

I want some new icons, I'll have to snag some from the communities since I'm obviously not able to make some new ones... I also want a new layout, but I'm too lazy to pick one *lol* Bitchy much, right?

I'll go to sleep now. Good night!

I started watching "Dexter" tonight, thanks to your suggestions... Three episodes, and I'm hooked :) Pretty good show, and I kind of like the guy... even if he's creepy...in a cute way ;-)

And "my" chairman told me today I can take our office laptop with me to Düsseldorf. I don't know...it's pretty old and so heavy I can barely lift it with one hand, and I'll be in Düsseldorf for just 5 days...but on the other hand, it means I'll have internet access and I could take my little external harddrive with me and watch my shows and listen to my music when I'm in my room, battling insomnia (I never sleep well in hotels) . Huh. I don't have a laptop myself, never travelled with one either. I'll take it home with me on Friday and carry it around with me for a while before I decide if I really want to take it to Düsseldorf^^

Oh, and I just finished reading one of the cutest SPN AU storíes EVER :-)
It was written for the spn_j2_bigbang challenge, it's called "Sub Rosa" and if you like "Beauty and the Beast" as much as I do, you should check it out :-)

So, rumor has it that I've kidnapped Jensen a couple of weeks ago and made him my love slave. And Jared got so jealous that he broke up with Sandy and joined the fun^^ Hence my absence ; ) I had to release them both since they started filming season 4 today, and who am I to mess with SPN fandom? I fear the wrath of fangirls ;-)

No, seriously.... It's been a while, and I'm sorry for not being around for so long.... It's a long, boring story, mostly about me dealing with real life and work-related stuff and trying to sort things out, some health issues, some "I'm not in a fangirl-mood"-stuff *gasp* But it's getting better, and I'm feeling better myself, too.
